Funeral Director

You may be interested to know that we handle in excess of £30,000 per annum in donations as more and more families choose to have family flowers only.
We will collate a list of all donors and these details are added to the list collated for the family.
Approximately 4-5 weeks after the funeral, a final list is sent to the family, together with a grand total (the individual amounts given are not listed). The charity (or charities) nominated are sent the donations and asked to acknowledge safe receipt of the total to us and to the family.
It is helpful if all cheques are made payable to the actual charity chosen. The cheques are ultimately processed by the Charity and therefore it should be noted that it may be some time before a cheque passes through the donor's bank account.

Gift Aid
To enhance your donation you may wish to consider Gift Aid. The Charity may then reclaim the tax on your donation (currently 25 pence for each pound given). In order to benefit from Gift Aid you need to sign a declaration that you:

  • Are a tax payer
  • Pay an amount of income tax/capital gains tax in the tax year at least equal to the tax the Charity reclaims on your donation.
